Article for Local Publications
Bank One Business Banking (2000)
To position your sales rep or marketing manager as a leader, it's a great
idea for him or her to publish an article on a topic of customer interest. The
catch: these folks tend to lack time and specialized writing skills. The next
best thing is to ghostwrite articles like this one, which they can send out over
their byline.

Consumer Newsletter
Financial Literacy Center, Loose Change (2000)
I contributed to many issues of Loose Change, a subscriber newsletter whose aim was to help consumers make smarter money moves. This article was a trifecta: I proposed the idea, interviewed IRA expert Ed Slott, and wrote the copy. Alas,
Roth IRAs are still misunderstood. |

Employee Newsletter
Bank One, The WIRE (2000)
For several years, I wrote a regular "Your Money" column in Bank
One's monthly in-house newsletter, The WIRE. With a light touch, we
tried to help people learn how to manage their money better, which in turn gave
them a better understanding of how the bank's services could affect customers'
lives. (In 2004, Bank One was acquired by JPMorgan Chase.) |
